Bottom Left: Hansel (Consul - Grande Karma) was named the Best Type.
Bottom Right: Blue Danube (Hamar - Pearl Peak) owned by Tatra Farm and ridden by Patricia Towle earned the judges' award for the Best Performance. Blue Danube is the second offspring of the stallion Hamar to earn IJF honors in 2004-- see Trueman's Affair, below.
Stablemate Moet Walk (not pictured) (Obscur II - Descendress) owned by Tatra Farm and Troutwalk, was awarded a Reserve in the Best Performance category.

Alexa Weeks' Riane and Kent Farrington topped off the evening at the Duke Childrens Benefit Horse Show, winning the $7500 Welcome Stake on Thursday evening. Riane (BWP, Darco - Jezabel) has been prepared by Kent Farrington since she was a four-year-old, competing in the Young Jumper Championships at 5, 6 and now as a 7-year-old in 2004. As a 6-year-old, the pair won four YJC Qualifiers on their way to the Hampton Classic.
