PATRICK has had a versatile show career. He has competed in dressage under a professional and an amateur rider up to 3rd Level. He has earned many 1st place ribbons as well as a Championship at 1st Level. He has been shown at many dressage breed shows winning 1st place and Championships frequently. In 2007, he began his show jumping career under a professional rider and is progressing up the levels. He consistenly places in the top 6 in large classes with horses that have many more years experience in the jumping ring. He even showed briefly in the hunter ring with an adult amateur rider, winning ribbons and prize money.

PATRICK is a 1997 son of CORLAND, a champion at his stallion test and in young jumper competitions, and later very successful placing in the top in many international Grand Prix competitions. In 2007 CORLAND was ranked 7th by the USEF as a Hunter sire.

CORLAND's sire COR DE LA BRYERE, is one of the most famous warmblood breeding stallions. He excelled in producing top performance horses, especially jumpers. His dam's sire LANDGRAF I, is equally known for excellence in performance as well as producing exceptional offspring.

PATRICK's dam, E. AKRIBIE, also has two famous grand sires, RAMIRO and CAPITANO. RAMIRO is described as on of the world's most influential breeding stallions and earned the titles of "SIRE OF THE CENTURY" and "KING OF SIRES". He excelled in the jumping ring himself and produced many top jumpers as well as dressage horses. CAPITANO is the foundation sire of the famous Holsteiner CAPTITOL line.
